The scenic beauty of Wisconsin Dells with the sandstone cliffs, beautiful rock formations and the Upper and Lower Dell Rivers flowing in between, is a real feast to the eyes of the nature-lovers. Wisconsin Dells is one of the most popular water parks in the mid-west region of the U.S. It is famous as Water Park Capital of the World. Wisconsin Dells is a cool city in Wisconsin state in the mid-west region and is a popular tourist attraction. Actually, I was not interested in summer splashes. But on reaching the cool city, being a nature-lover I was very much attracted by the fantastic scenic beauty of Wisconsin Dells. First we went on a thrilling amphibious in the Dell river and then a delightful boat tour in the Lower Dells. Though it was summer, suddenly the weather turned cloudy on reaching the Lower Boat Dock. Summer is the most awaited season in the U.S. It's a time when people to go on tours with family and friends. During our stay in Chicago, IL we had been to Wisconsin Dells in May 2010. This place is popular for its water parks and theme parks. Wisconsin Dells is in the mid-west region in the state of Wisconsin. The city is naturally beautiful with the gorges featured with sandstone formations and with the dells of the Wisconsin river. On reaching the place at noon we directly went to the resort where we had booked an accommodation. We planned to stay only for a day in Wisconsin Dells, so we refreshed and we went on stroll for sometime. At around 3.30 in the afternoon we went on a thrilling guided Army Duck tour. These Army Ducks provide a unique way of experiencing Wisconsin Dells. Tourists enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings riding on these ducks.
