Valley Forge National Historical Park is located at 1400 North Outer Line Drive, King of Pruissia, PA. Its a place of historical significance and is spread over a large area. This was the site of winter encampment of the Continental Army under Gen George Washington in 1777-78 C.E (Current Era). Few place to visit in the park are Headquarters of Gen Washington's, Muhlenberg Brigade Huts, Washington's Memorial Chapel and pictures of monuments and makers of the park. The park opens at 7.00 a.m and closes 30 minutes after the sunset. The buildings in the park are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year's Day. The visitors Center at the park remains open from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Entry into the park is free. There is an encampment store in the Visitor's Center where you can get refreshments, snacks, coffee, candies, granola bars etc. And a Cabin Shop for purchasing unique gifts, souvenirs.
