DIY - Sunburst Mirror with Waste CDs

Here is yet another way of reusing household waste into a decorative item. I have made this simple and easy to make, sunburst mirror with old CDs that are no more useful. This is used as a wall decor in my child's bedroom.
You need a fevicol tube, waste CDs, small round / square shaped mirrors, kundan i.e rhinestones for decorating the CD and spokes.

I have removed the small mirrors from one of my old dresses and used it for doing this piece of wall decor. And I have used the spikes of sparklers that I have stored after using these on Deepavali day.

All you need to do is to stick the spikes on the reverse side (not the readable side) of the CD alternately one smaller in length and the other longer one. When it is done, stick another CD or a cardboard cut in round shape, on the reverse side of the CD so that the spokes are covered with the CD or cardboard.

Now you can decorate the shining (readable) side of the CD with colored kundans in any design as per your taste / liking. And then, stick mirrors on the spokes with fevicol at desired places.

That's it. Unused CDs, waste materials like mirrors from old dresses and spikes of used Diwali sparklers are reused for making a beautiful wall decor.
